For International Women’s Day, we partnered with Period.org to raise awareness about the lack of tampon and pad accessibility in public restrooms. The challenge was reaching over 50% of the population who didn’t fully understand the issue and getting them to demand equitable access.
To grab attention, we created the world’s first coin-operated toilet paper dispenser, installed in men’s restrooms. This unconventional approach sparked media attention and, with an $8k budget and no paid media, earned over 85 million impressions in the first week, resulting in a 27% increase in donations to Period.org.
